Road building activities at CAR 1 in the Carrington Operating Area of the Cortes Community Forest are substantially completed. All of the saw logs from the road right-of-way have been hauled to local mills.
There will be additional capping material added to the adverse section of the road in the next week or two, as well as a community firewood day on October 26 to distribute firewood from the project.
All operations are expected to be completed by the end of October.
