Community Firewood Day
Saturday October 26 9:30 am to 3:30 pm
If you are a year-round resident who is physically challenged with the hard work of firewood – someone with health concerns, a senior, or the single parent of a young child, then we have a pickup-truckload of firewood for you. Anyone who feels eligible is welcome to respond.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of truckloads available we will draw names.
Please Note: Offering gas money to your delivery team would be kind, but is not required. All firewood delivery recipients will be contacted the week of October 21 to confirm address and delivery details.

The number of trucks that we get out on the day will determine how many deliveries are possible– so please register.
Volunteers will receive a free truckload of firewood at the end of the day. (One load per household).
Free Use Firewood Permits will still be issued after October 26 for people to go and cut their own from what is left over. The remaining supply will be limited.
